-In the city of Basque, a new plaza, at the entrance to Bilbao, will open under the name “Isozaki Atea”. It is right next to the Guggenheim Bilbao. The plaza is similar in size to the Spanish Steps in Rome, and at its center is a sculpture by Chillida (the largest work of his in existence).
“Seven Odd Designs” will be on view.
-A collection of projects that might be described as mere elements of architecture, that might not be architecture at all, or that will be destroyed in the near future.
